At the turn of the century when we were on our 4.5 year trip around the world, we realized the only other people traveling for longer than 6 months all owned some sort of rental properties. We thought, "what a great idea!" Our only problem was that we didn't know anything about Real Estate or Investment Properties. 😃

 

When we moved to Boulder in 2004, Erin was quickly hired at the University of Colorado while I focused on my Real Estate license and got to work building a business. Three years later I was so busy, Erin came on board and also became a Realtor. Over the years we grew to be among the most successful and respected agents in the Boulder area, continuously earning Elite Agent performance awards and consistently ranking in the top 1% of Realtors in the USA.

With time we also accumulated a healthy portfolio of Rental Properties, and now advise friends and clients on how to build their own wealth through Real Estate Investments.

Things were going well, and in 2015 Chris was asked to become an owner-partner at RE/MAX Alliance, one of America's largest franchises with over 850 agents and 24 offices in Colorado. Along with influencing the office culture, his responsibilities include coaching, mentoring, and training of agents and staff.

 

In the summer of 2018 we decided that while Colorado Real Estate had been great to us, it was time to discover more of the world.  We sold our business interest in RE/MAX Alliance and merged the team with Jim Thomas (www.ThomasRatay.com), a longtime partner at RE/MAX with expertise in Commercial and Luxury properties.

Chris coaches real estate owners/agents and strategizes with business owners about branding, problem solving, and growth.  He works closely with RE/MAX Hungary and their franchise development.  Check out his Consulting Services.
